Touching the ‘Touch-Me-Not’ (Spotted Jewelweed) Plant in Rabun County, Georgia

A late-summer or early autumn walk around Black Rock State Park in Rabun County, you might notice a common (and very cool!) plant, as we did in this video. In fact, it’s such a common plant that it’s probably in your yard.

When you touch it just right, you might notice it’s actually spring-coiled! So it pops. In the video below, that’s exactly what happens.
